RYOZU Token (Silver Currency)

Silver

In-Game Economy Driver

RYOZU is the native in-game currency of Trials of Mu, designed to facilitate all primary economic activities within the game world.

Token Details

  1. Symbol: RYOZU (Working Name)
  2. Type: New ERC-20 Token (To be deployed via Thirdweb)
  3. Max Supply: 3,000,000,000 (3 Billion) RYOZU (Capped)
  4. Creation: Minted On Demand. RYOZU has no pre-mine or initial sale. New tokens are created only when earned through defined in-game mechanisms (staking rewards, specific gameplay achievements).

Earning RYOZU (Faucets)

  • ZENN Staking Rewards: Staking ZENN yields RYOZU at a target rate of 10% APR. Rewards accrue immediately upon staking and are claimable Weekly. RYOZU for these rewards is minted on demand weekly based on the calculated payout for eligible stakers.
  • Gameplay Rewards: Defeating challenging bosses and potentially enhanced mobs will reward players with RYOZU. This RYOZU is also Minted on Demand upon successful completion/claim. Drop amounts scale with difficulty.
  • Auction House Sales: Players can earn RYOZU by selling items (Gear, Relics, Materials) to other players via the in-game Auction House. (This is a P2P transfer, not new minting).

Spending & Burning RYOZU (Sinks)

Economic Balance through Token Sinks

RYOZU is designed to be actively used and removed from circulation through various mechanics:

  • Auction House Purchases: Primary currency for buying items from other players.
  • Auction House Fee: A 5% fee is applied to all successful sales. (Suggested Split: 3% Burned, 2% to Project Treasury).
  • Relic Enhancing: RYOZU (and potentially materials) are required for attempts to upgrade Relics, with costs scaling significantly at higher tiers.
  • Character Respec: Changing allocated character stats or skills costs RYOZU. (Suggested Model: Scaling weekly cost, starting at 500 RYOZU, doubling each respec within the week, resetting weekly).
  • Cosmetics: Purchasing standard visual customizations for characters or pNFTs.
  • Mu Recharge: Rare instances may allow spending RYOZU for Mu energy replenishment.
  • Wishing Well: Players can voluntarily burn RYOZU at specific locations (e.g., wells, shrines) for a chance at random rewards (items, buffs, titles).
  • NPC Purchase Tax: A small percentage (e.g., 1-2%) of RYOZU spent at certain NPC vendors may be burned.
  • Future Expansion: Potential future sinks including crafting costs, gear repairs, and event entry fees.

The Silver Currency

Within the Trials of Mu ecosystem, RYOZU functions like silver in traditional economies: the everyday currency that facilitates commerce and activity, while being backed by a more stable store of value (ZENN).
