Roadmap
Our roadmap outlines the key phases of development for "ZENN: Trials of Mu", transforming the initial concept into a fully realized game and ecosystem. Timelines are indicative and subject to adjustments based on development realities and strategic priorities.
Phase 1: Foundation & Core Development (Ongoing / Q2-Q3 2025 Est.)
- ✅ Finalize Core Game Design Document (GDD) & Tokenomics Structure.
- ✅ Complete Whitepaper Draft v1.
- Smart Contract Development:
- Deploy RYOZU ERC-20 Token Contract (3B Max Supply, Mintable by Owner) via Thirdweb on Testnet.
- Develop and deploy ZENN Staking Contract (10% APR, Weekly Claim Logic) on Testnet.
- Develop initial pNFT (Programmable NFT) Contract base on Testnet.
- Game Development (Engine Setup - Web/Godot TBD):
- Establish core game engine project.
- Implement basic Character Creation flow (off-chain logic).
- Develop core Survival systems (Hunger, Mu).
- Implement basic Movement & Exploration mechanics (Top-down view).
- Develop foundational Turn-Based Combat grid and turn logic.
- Art & Assets: Produce initial character sprites, environment tilesets, basic UI elements.
- Web Interface v1: Develop initial secure web module for wallet connection and Testnet pNFT minting.
Phase 2: Alpha Testing & Feature Expansion (Q4 2025 - Q1 2026 Est.)
- Blockchain Integration:
- Implement Testnet ZENN Staking functionality via web interface.
- Implement Testnet RYOZU Mint-on-Demand logic for staking rewards.
- Refine pNFT metadata structure and update mechanisms.
- Game Development:
- Implement core Gathering and Crafting systems (menu-based).
- Develop initial Quest system framework and first quests.
- Implement basic dynamic Event system.
- Expand Combat system (basic skills, initial enemy AI).
- Develop Auction House backend logic and Testnet contract interaction.
- Expand world map with initial distinct zones and basic NPC interactions.
- Internal Alpha Testing: Focus on core loop stability, bug fixing, initial gameplay feedback.
- Web Interface v2: Integrate Testnet Staking UI, basic pNFT viewer, Testnet Auction House interface.
Phase 3: Beta Testing & Economic Balancing (Q2-Q3 2026 Est.)
- Smart Contract Audits: Conduct professional security audits of RYOZU, Staking, and pNFT contracts.
- Closed Beta Launch: Invite early community members / ZENN holders to test on Testnet.
- Economic Modeling & Tuning: Analyze Beta test data to refine RYOZU faucet/sink rates (staking APR, boss drops, enhancing costs, AH fees, etc.). Adjust numbers for balance.
- Content Expansion: Add more Zones, Quests, Bosses, Items, Relics, Crafting Recipes, Skill Tree options.
- Feature Refinement: Improve UI/UX, Combat balance, Crafting depth, Event variety.
- Open Beta Phase: Wider public testing on Testnet, stress testing infrastructure.
- Marketing & Community Building: Prepare for mainnet launch.
Phase 4: Mainnet Launch & Live Operations (Q4 2026 / Q1 2027 Est.)
- Mainnet Deployment:
- Deploy audited RYOZU, Staking, pNFT contracts to chosen Mainnet.
- Configure Mint-on-Demand mechanisms for Mainnet.
- Official Game Launch (v1.0): Release the core game client.
- Activate On-Chain Features: Enable Mainnet pNFT minting, ZENN Staking, RYOZU rewards (staking & gameplay), and Auction House.
- Live Operations: Ongoing bug fixing, server maintenance, performance optimization, community support, regular content updates.
Phase 5: Post-Launch Expansion (Ongoing from 2027+)
- Content Updates: Regularly introduce new Zones, Dungeons, Quests, Bosses, Relics, Gear, Crafting Recipes, and Skills.
- DAO Implementation: Launch the ZENN-based DAO for community governance.
- Land Sales & Gameplay: Develop and implement the virtual Land system (purchased with ZENN) with associated gameplay mechanics.
- PvP Features: Introduce structured PvP modes (Duels, Arenas) and enhance Contested Zone gameplay.
- Advanced Systems: Expand Crafting, Lineage, Social, and potential Settlement features.
- Ecosystem Growth: Explore further integrations, partnerships, and community-driven initiatives.
