RYOZU Staking Mechanism

In addition to ZENN staking, players can stake their RYOZU tokens to earn exclusive non-RYOZU rewards, further reducing circulating supply while providing unique benefits.

RYOZU staking provides multiple benefits to the ecosystem: - Reduces circulating RYOZU supply through temporary lockups - Creates additional utility for RYOZU beyond in-game spending - Offers unique rewards not obtainable through other means - Complements the spending/burning sinks to balance the economy

Staking Mechanism​

  1. Process: Players lock their RYOZU tokens in a dedicated smart contract for a specified period.
  2. Lockup: Unlike ZENN staking, the locked RYOZU cannot be withdrawn until the staking period completes.
  3. Rewards: Instead of earning more RYOZU, stakers earn exclusive non-RYOZU assets (details below).
  4. Economic Impact: By locking tokens, RYOZU staking reduces sell pressure and circulating supply, functioning as an effective sink mechanism.

Unique Rewards​

Unlike ZENN staking which generates more tokens, RYOZU staking rewards players with exclusive non-token assets:

  • Exclusive Cosmetics: Unique pNFT shaders, weapon skins, and character customization options that cannot be purchased with RYOZU or obtained through gameplay.
  • Tokenized Crafting Recipes: Special crafting recipes for rare consumables or items otherwise unobtainable through normal gameplay.
  • Event Access Tickets: Passes granting access to special time-limited dungeons, world events, or beta tests for new content.
  • Relic Fragments: Components required to assemble powerful, non-tradable Relics or special items.

The RYOZU staking system creates demand for the token beyond just gameplay utility, reduces the available supply through lockups, and ties RYOZU value to desirable exclusive rewards rather than simply generating more currency.

This mechanism requires careful balancing of staking requirements versus reward value to ensure it remains an attractive option for players while contributing to the overall economic health of the ecosystem.
